Buy Local!
Shop in Brookhaven, here are some reasons why:
1) 56% ($5.60 of every $10.00) of the city’s general fund revenue comes from sales tax collections.
2) Only 18% ($1.80 of every $10.00) of the city’s general fund revenue comes from property taxes.
3) Money spent locally contributes sales tax dollars that helps fund city services such as police, fire, parks, recreation, streets, infrustructure, schools and all the services that provide the community a high quality of life.
4) Keep your property taxes low by shopping locally.
